<title>A bribe is used to 'buy off' a child who

*'Come to the table right now'*

*'No, I am playing !'*

*'If you come right now, you can have ice cream for dessert'*

In that scenario, the bribe is offered in order to persuade the child to comply. But resorting to bribery is ultimately a big mistake. Rather than eliciting good future behavior, it encourages a child to say *'No'* next time so that you will offer her a treat _*again*_ in return for compliance.

Remember that when you resort to bribery to control your child’s behavior, the price that you wind up paying is actually a lot higher than it may seem in the moment. Instead, require that your child earn reasonable rewards by taking care of his responsibilities and making positive strides in improving his behavior.

Ways to Stop Bribing Kids

Getting into a bribing trade-off is extremely easy, but reversing this habit is not that easy. We will now dive in deeper into the many ways that you can stop bribing your kids
1. A No is a No
Sometimes, you need to be firm without being mean or unkind. You need to tell your child that he is in the wrong and that some kinds of behaviour are unacceptable.

2. Let Your Child Figure it Out
Let’s say your child wants to wear a sleeveless top to her friend’s birthday party. You don’t want her to wear that, because it’s a cold winter night. Don’t bribe her.Instead, tell her to wear the dress, let her see for herself that it is cold outside This way, you’ll get your child to listen to you, and your child will realise that it was her decision and she wasn’t being forced.

3. Ask Your Child
Present the situation to your child, but with different characters. This way, you’ll be telling your child how you feel, by making her exercise empathy.

4. Sometimes Ignore
This might be a hard approach, but if your child is throwing a tantrum for no reason, then ignoring the child will let your child know that his tantrums are futile, and nothing is going to change with bad behaviour.

You need to teach the right ideas, patterns, and ways of thinking if you want your little one to grow up into a smart individual &#x1f60a;</title>

<title>Can’t you just stop fidgeting and finish your homework?

I’m sure we’ve all asked our children this at least a few dozen times while they’re studying. because children are naturally energetic and exuberant and we cannot expect them to focus completely and not get distracted at all!

But, having said that, it IS possible to help a child focus on a task and increase concentration skills for a longer period of time.

The main reason children face concentration issues is because they are wired differently to adults.

Techniques To Improve &#38; Increase Concentration Power &#38; Focus In Children

1. Play focus games &#38; exercises to build attention
