CURRENT JOB STATUS:
· Mental Health Specialist: Counselor and Psychotherapist at Phoenix Wellness Center BD since 2017.
· Academic Faculty: Professor cum Head of the Department of Anatomy, In a Medical College & Hospital and Dental unit, at Dhaka, Bangladesh since April 2015.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Mental Health Specialist:
– Mental Health Counseling (for individual, couple, and group)
– Psychotherapy
– Conducting workshops on stress management, anger management, parenting, effective communication skills and many more
– Organizing national and international seminar/conferences on contemporary mental health issues
As an Academic Faculty:
– Teaching, conducting examinations for both Medical and Dental students
– Admistrative activities as Phase-I Co-ordinator
– Organizing and supervising seminars and various teaching programs, cultural programs, orientation programs, annual picnic etc.
– Assisting the activities of the library committee, admission committee in undergraduate medical admission test & medical education unit
– Counselling students

I have been working in the field of counselling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families nearly a decade within different state-of-art wellness centres. I have been drawn to this helping venture for my love for human lives, their relationships, and an intense desire to understand emotional processes and healing. My objective is to serve compassionately and make a difference in the navigation of life’s challenges as clients find the wholeness for themselves and in their relationships.
