Asmi Purohit is a Parenting Coach and Child Development Professional with a background in Psychology and Education, holding a B.A. in Psychology and a B.Ed.Her professional experience in school settings as a Shadow Teacher has given her first-hand insight into children’s behaviour, emotional needs, learning patterns, and the challenges parents often face while raising children.

Through her work with children and families, Asmi believes that behaviour is communication and that understanding what lies behind a child’s behaviour is the first step towards creating meaningful change.

She works with parents to develop practical, child-centred strategies around areas such as tantrums, emotional regulation, communication, screen habits, confidence, independence, positive discipline, and parent-child connection.

As the founder of Parenting Lens – “See Beyond the Behaviour,” Asmi aims to help parents shift from simply asking “How do I stop this behaviour?” to “What is my child trying to communicate?”

Her approach combines psychological understanding with practical, everyday parenting strategies that parents can realistically use at home.

Her goal is simple: to help parents understand their children better, respond with greater awareness, and build stronger, healthier relationships—one interaction at a time.
